The digital GSIS Newsletter is published quarterly in Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall by the Geoscience Information Society. Access to the digital edition is free since it is published Open Access and is supported by GSIS memberships (individual or institutional).

GSIS members are encouraged to contribute content, including images and photos, for publication. Please send content via e-mail to the Newsletter Editors.

In addition to GSIS organizational news, examples of appropriate newsletter content include:

• News about a members’ library
• Changes in a members’ position
• Member publications and presentations
• Announcements of interest to geoscience librarians
• Reviews of information resources relevant to geoscience librarians
• Original brief articles that would be of interest to geoscience librarians

A complete Newsletter Archive extending from 1966 is mostly completed below. Donations of additional content are welcomed.
